Join the inaugural edition of the AI Film Awards Web Edition, an exclusive online film festival dedicated to celebrating the most innovative shorts films created with AI technology. This digital event is designed to showcase the pioneering work of filmmakers from around the globe, all from the comfort of your own home.
Submission Requirements & Categories
Films from all around the World must be created with the assistance of AI technology, either in part or in their entirety. Entrants must own or have rights to all aspects of the film, including music, visuals, and any third-party content.
AI Short Film: film of 1-5 mins in length. 100% of the film must be generated using AI technologies. One winner in each category: Best AI-Generated, Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Music Score
AI Long Film: film of 5 - 30 mins in length. 100% of the film must be generated using AI technologies. One winner in each category: Best AI-Generated, Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Music Score
AI Video Clip: film must be between 0 and 5 mins in length. 100% of the film must be generated using AI technologies. One winner in each category: Best AI Video Clip, Best Commercial AI Clip, Best AI Music Video Clip
AI Documentary: The film must be under 60 mins in length. The film must be created with the assistance of AI technology, either in part or in their entirety. One winner in each category: Best AI-Generated Documentary, Best Topic Ai Documentary, Best Social Impact Documentary
AI-Enhanced Film: The film must be under 60 mins in length. The film must be created with the assistance of AI technology, either in part or in their entirety. One winner in each category: Best Movie, Best Picture, Best Character, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Music Score.
Special Recognition AI Awards: Best Avatar / Best Character, Best Movie of the Country (where the competition is located), Award of Merit : Best film with a Message or a Cause, Best Overall Storytelling with AI, Best Experimental Movie (free-style), Special Price of the Jury (for special Movies), Best Piece of Art (must contain artistic material), Best Mobile Ai Film (must have done the movie totally on a smartphone & prove it), Best Movie of the Year (from all the movies presented during a year only for award winners in previous edition of the Ai film awards )

All films will be reviewed by a panel of judges including AI experts and film industry professionals.
Criteria for judging will include creativity, use of AI technology, narrative structure, technical execution, and overall impact, etc ...
Awards will be given in multiple categories, with special attention given to innovative uses of AI.
