Technical Requirements:‍

• Submission must have both a Title and a Description

• Maximum length of 15 minutes (900 seconds), unless otherwise specified
        - Social Media: <90 seconds
        - Marketing & Advertisement: <60 seconds
        - Trailers: <2.5 minutes

• Maximum file size of 20 GB

• Exported in an .mp4 or .webm format

• Non-music videos must be in English or subtitled in English (for judging)

Categories:

• Narrative: From your perspective as a storyteller, make a film that has both strong characters and an impactful narrative that can resonate with audiences.

• Music Video: Create a music video or visualizer that complements the mood and theme of the song.

• Marketing & Advertisement: Develop a convincing spec advertisement or commercial to spotlight a brand or product. Must be under 60 seconds in length

• Trailer: Bring your vision to life with a teaser trailer for an original TV or film concept. Must be under 2 minutes 30 seconds in length

• Rendering & VFX: Rotoscope input footage or use open source workflows to showcase AI's capabilities as a VFX render engine.

• Social Media: Create a shortform video or meme to go viral on social media. Under 90 seconds in length. 9:16 Vertical Aspect Ratio

• Open Format: Experiment with video art, an interactive film, an animated storyboard, or something else that doesn’t fit into the other categories.

• Behind-The-Scenes: Spotlight your story as a creator, your workflows, and the inspiration behind your Project Odyssey submission. Must be about a film you've submitted to Project Odyssey Season 2

• Sponsor Awards: Use the tools from our Title and Gold Sponsors, compete to win additional cash prizes! These prizes are independent of the other categories. For example, it's possible to win both a Main Category Award AND a Sponsor Award.
